OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pair of disturbances that they report is tied to drug use.

A release states that DCSO deputies received calls about adult males causing a disturbance over the weekend.

The men were found and taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the men reached for a gun as he was being detained, according to the release

While DCSO says both men are believed to have consumed “locally purchased” THC products, medical professionals say the men appeared to have taken phencyclidine, or PCP.
